I am currently about to read “Heir of Fire” by Sarah J Maas.
“How, when it’s not due to be released until September 2, 2014?” I hear you ask? Because of an amazing site called Netgallery.
Netgallery is a site on which you can request to read certain books from the publishers, many of these will be advanced reading copies. All you have to do is give them an honest review in return. (The more you review, the more likely you will be to be accepted future titles). Loads of books are on here, with more being added each day – you need to check it regularly as many books have a set date before they become archived and you can no longer request them
How does it work? You sign up, fill in your profile, and request titles of books that you like the sound of. I would suggest only applying for books that you genuinely think you will read, as you get accepted for most books. Once you have been accepted, you read the book, and give them your review. If you post the review anywhere else, let them know.
Sounds amazing, right?! That’s because it is! The only catch is that you have to have an electronic device to read the copies. Most books are available to download to your kindle, but some are only available to read on Adobe.
